Registered Veterinary Technician

My passion for animals has always inspired and driven me to the veterinary medical field. Even as a young girl growing up in the country, I would be bringing home wounded/ abandoned critters to nurture them back to health. Having these interactions with all different varieties of animals helped solidify my pursuit to becoming a Veterinary Technician. In May of 2015 I graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at St. Clair College of Science and Technology. I later received my registered status with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians after writing the National Examination. I am always looking to further my knowledge and keep up to date with current medical care through continuing education opportunities. In my spare time I enjoy going on hikes, being outdoors, reading a good book and volunteer work in the community. My fur family consists of three dogs and one cat. A Border collie mix named Monte, and two Labrador retrievers, Nike and Molly (All of which were adopted from the humane society). My latest addition to my pet familia is a Domestic Short Hair named Melody, and her name very much matches her vocal personality.
