What to Expect

As a new client of our practice, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs.  Our service will be provided with compassion, care, courtesy and respect.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and meet our team members.  We will obtain your pet’s current weight and show you into an examination room as soon as we have one available.  Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times when the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

You will then meet Dr. Todd.  She will spend a few minutes getting to know your pet and helping them to feel comfortable.  Then Dr. Todd will ask you to provide details of how your pet is doing at home and the exact nature of any problems they are experiencing.  Then Dr. Todd will perform a full physical examination.  Based on her findings Dr Todd will then discuss any recommendations ranging from changes at home to test or treatments, or hopefully the “All Clear – Everything is fine!”.  There is always ample opportunity to ask Dr. Todd any questions  – so bring along your list!

You may then meet one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians who are trained to perform many treatments such as blood sample collection, nail trims, demonstrating the administration medications or reviewing Dr. Todd’s instructions with you.

Our Receptionist will then review the invoice with you to ensure it accurately reflects the services you requested.  She will also arrange any follow-up appointments with you.

We are excited to meet you and your human and animal family members!
