“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened” -Anatole France
Even as a little girl, animals have been a significant part of my life and close to my heart. From my first pet rabbit to my current crew which consists of 1 dog & 3 cats (Fonzie, Sage, Axl & Gypsy Girl).
My husband, twin boys and I all enjoy seeing our furry friends wagging tails each day when we come home. Their company makes our time as a family fun and full of colour.
My passion for animals is not limited to our family pets, but also extends to those animals that are in need of help and a little love. My family jokes that it seems as though lost animals tend to find their way to me. It never comes as a surprise to those that know me, to hear that while out on a walk or driving in my car that I have picked up a lost pup and have tried to find their owners…thankfully most have been reunited! Many times while vacationing I have had opportunity to assist animals in need, including once while stopping in Regina, I ended up spending an evening tracking down the owners of a lost pup who was a surprising distance from his home. My family may shake their heads and tease me at times, but I just can’t help but be an advocate for the ones who can not speak for themselves.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr.Todd for over 15 years and have experienced first hand her kind and gentle approach to her patients and owners alike. It is with great pleasure that I have joined the team at Fonthill Animal Hospital and look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!
