Mascot
Jack is Dr. Todd’s Border Collie. He was born in 2011 and started coming to the Hospital with Dr. Todd since he was 10 weeks old. Most days Jack can be found roaming the hospital looking for new friends. He is always on the look out of an invitation to come in and say “Hello” to clients and patients alike. He understands that some are too nervous at the vet’s office to cope with making new canine friends. He may look in the window, or even bring his toys outside the door, making a small pile in hopes those in the room may like one of his toys enough to come and play with him! You may occasionally see or hear Jack down the hall behind the examination rooms, playing with his squeaky toys or running by hidden underneath his favourite blue blanket. In typical Border Collie style, Jack is also a care-taker. He shows a great deal of concern for patients recovering from anaesthetic or sick in the hospital. He will often lie outside their kennels (as long as his presence does not make them anxious), or he will bring offerings of his toys and leave them with the patients.
